Ideal Attic Insulation

We have a 1960's 2 story home and had never redone the attic insulation on the 2 story attic. After talking to several companies on getting quotes and deciding if we wanted blown in or batten insulation. We have approximately 1000 sq feet of attic space and decided on blown in.

Met with Jorge who was knowledgeable, friendly and truly wanted us to have a good experience. After getting the quote from them we decided to move forward. The process of signing the contract online and communication via text messages were excellent.

They removed all the old insulation, air sealed up the attic in the floor and canned light fixtures, sanitized the attic and rodent proofed. I also needed a bathroom exhaust duct installed, which they did that as well. Our house gets really hot on the 2nd floor, so we opted for the double sided radiant barrier as well in the trusses. R38 was blown in to approximately 13 inches.

The team did an excellent job, showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. This job actually took 2 days, but I would have rather take their time to do great work instead of rushing, so I didn't mind. They also took a bunch of photos along the way and then sent them to me afterwards.

After they completed the work, I did notice some nails coming through the ceiling, probably after workers walking on the tresses in the attic and it being an old house. I texted Jorge and he responded right away and arranged for a handyman to come over and fix.

Cost was reasonable and average with other quotes I got. I would highly recommend this company.

Jorge and his team did a perfect job cleaning, sanitizing, rat-proofing, and insulating my attic. They were fast, professional, and affordable. Five stars isn't enough!

My manufactured home had a serious mold problem from an unundetected leak. It affected the subfloor and the insulation under the house.

I had another company come out to treat the mold, go into the crawl space to break out the wet board under the subfloor, and remove that wet board and wet insulation.

Days later I found out the company had left some wet insulation and rotting wood in the crawl space, and the house was still smelling of that.

I needed new insulation to replace what had been removed, and I needed polyethylene underbelly fabric installed under the insulation.

Jorge and his team were some of the best contractors we have worked with! We hired him to replace our heating ducts and crawl space insulation. He was honest, thorough, and their attention to detail was above and beyond. They removed everything leaving no debris. We also hired them to return for their rodent proofing/sanitation services. We were still getting rats after using Clark's pest control subcontractor for their rodent proofing services. Jorge's guy Jaime found soooo many areas that the Clark subcontractor missed! Jorge and his team removed old spray-in insulation in our attic and did an amazing job. He is very thorough and communicates everything he has done and makes sure you are satisfied. We are using him to reinstall batts insulation throughout the house. Highly recommend.
