Jerrys Appliance Used Appliance and Repair

Jerry is the best! I couldn't get down to his shop in hayward but really needed a new washing machine. So, i called him up and told him the situation. I needed something within a particular price range. He told me what he had, sent me some pics and i chose one. Two days later he delivered the washer and removed the old one for free. We realized at the last minute that the washer for some reason wouldn't fit iut of the pantry so he waited while i pried the molding off the door frame. Then he refused to take a tip for his troubles. In short, jerry was awesome and i highly recommend him for your appliance repair/ replacements!

They sold us a washer and dryer. The washer immediately had issues, we called them for repairs repeatedly over months and they never answered our calls. Eventually we had to pay a repair person to come and he said the washer is totaled.

The washer I got was over filling and not agitating. I Stopped by and the guy said someone will come over and take a look at it. He came exactly when he said he would & he Fixed it within two minutes . No more overfilling and it agitated now.

I asked why all the bad reviews. He explained that he has a second job and he's not always at the store. So call his cell number that he gives you after he installs/ delivers the appliance. Not the store!

He's actually a cool guy. I'm happy .

We worked with Jerry about 3 or 4 years ago and he was GREAT! We traded in our new but absolutely useless GE "high efficiency" (ha! what a joke!) washing machine for an older Kenmore (YAAAY KENMORE! SO sad that Sears went out of business as their appliances were the best!) and Jerry was really helpful. Really, really helpful and patient. On time, very professional, very reasonably priced, did a couple of extra things and didn't charge us for the little extras. We were truly delighted to have met him and worked with him. Had we ever needed more work on any other appliance we would have chosen him again without hesitation.

Well, the Kenmore has sprung a leak someplace so we started calling 10 days ago and I texted as well. Thus far, 10 days later, we've had no response either to the calls or the text. We have no idea why. Jerry was EXCEPTIONAL when we worked with him. This is stunningly unprofessional and we're absolutely shocked at his lack of response. At first we were actually worried that perhaps something had happened to him but my husband drove by the shop and it's still in business so it seems that his professionalism has gone south.

Evidently, this is now how he operates. It makes us both sad and so disappointed. When I say he was great I mean fabulously great. We would never have gone to anyone else. I still really hope nothing bad has happened to him but this lack of responsiveness is absolutely unacceptable.

Can't rate , store was closed couldn't leave a msg it was full . Maybe out of business?

No one calls back when I leave cell phone messages. Voicemail always full on the business number. I was supposed to get a washer from them a few weeks back, was told to call the next morning when a shipment was coming in. They have some good stuff but the unresponsiveness is a deal breaker.

I want to give PRAISE to Jerry and his father at Jerry's appliance. I recently purchased a used washing machine with the extra large capacity. It was installed in under two hours. I wanted an older style washer that did not come with all the electrical components and one that could use bulk powdered detergent. Jerry spoke honestly with me and directed me to the perfect washer for my needs. They had newer and fancier ones to chose from as well. Don't let the dents fool you. The washer I purchased works GREAT and has a 60 day warranty. This is my third appliance purchase from them. I will continue to be their customer. I paid $240 for a GREAT washing machine!

Jerry is amazing! He gave me a great price on a used washer and not only delivered and installed it, but also took away my old washer. I was in a real bind with a six month pregnant wife and a broken washing machine and Jerry saved the day. This was about the most painless possible dealing I could have hoped for and will be recommending Jerry to anyone looking for appliances or appliance repair.

Reommended highly BUT no one answers the phone or calls back. Met Miguel, picked a purchase, said I would be back same day to pay and the shop was closed and no one called back.
So if that is how he is to purchase something....how would be be if a repair issue arises? I think he would be the same, no answer so I have to but somewhere else.

Jerry was great when I visited the shop and we made an appointment to for him to repair a tenants cooktop. He arrived timely and made the repair the next day as we await the missing part.

All is well after I paid until the same issue came up less than 2 months later and we are still under the 90 day warranty. Called 5 times since August thru Nov and left voice mails, texts( he texted before) and still no answers.

I hate to leave reviews like this but after everything I tried I'd prefer to go elsewhere to get the job done right the first time.

Clothes Dryer repair: Jerry came in, diagnosed the issue within 2 minutes, displaying his knowledge and experience. He came in on a Wednesday, immediately ordered the part and came back Saturday to do the repair. He was very professional and conscientious, even cleaning the lint from the dryer and hose.

I would have no qualms about calling Jerry for future repairs.
