La Capital Latin Cuisine

I saw the reviews but wanted to give them a try. First our server was fantastic. We went there Sunday morning and the place still had the alcohol smell from Saturday late night but the server was acknowledging of it and kept the doors open to air out.

The food was good- I particularly liked the chimichurri roll. We also tried the carne asada plate and that was a great meal to share.

There were several other rolls I need to try and so I'll be back. I'd definitely recommend

Went for a long walk in the midtown area the other night and came across La Capital Latin Cuisine. We were attracted by all the lights and fun music.

They had indoor and outdoor seating, but since it was a breezy night we decided to stay in.

The hostess seated us and took our order. She was very friendly and helpful when taking our order.

Chips were fresh, but the salsa tasted jarred.

Chicken quesadilla looked amazing, but could use more cheese and seasoning.

Chimichanga roll has potential to be great. Presentation was nice, but was overwhelmingly sweet/tangy. I think next time I would request lighter on the sauce.

Margaritas tasted good, but lacked liquor. Honestly just tasted like juice and I didn't even feel a buzz.

Still giving them a good review, because they are newer and has a lot of potential. Plus, service was on point. I loved the seamless teamwork the staff provided. Our waitress was busy with another group and another waiter seen our drinks sitting at the bar and brought them to us.

This place was great! The food and service was great! I enjoyed the lighting and seating. I think the music could have been a little better. We got lots of food including shrimp, fajitas, and burritos and they were so awesome! We also tried all their margaritas, flights, and different shots. The martinis were really strong but good. Recommend!

Ok this place is amazing and I just don't say that to say that. Look at my reviews. This is the best Latin/Mexican food I have eaten in Sacramento or in the area! You must come and try this food in midtown. If you are in the area or coming from out The ambiance is awesome! Very cool and great upscale feeling with the decor and layout. The ambiance is certainly a must see and feel. The service is great! Our server Reyna was so courteous and helpful and friendly and took great care of us all night. Very pleasant and warm. Flavor and seasoning and paired with excellent rice and beans and corn tortillas! The corn ribs had a great flavor and the overall presentation of the food was 5 stars along with the flavor/taste of each dish. The last thing desert!! You must try the Churro cheesecake!! Wow!! This cinnamon flavored cheesecake is out of this world. Look at the pictures! The is my new favorite place and will definitely be back probably weekly! I'm Mexican and this is as close to authentic as I have had along with an upscale feel to food really made my night great!

Very noisy and overstimulating bar atmosphere.

Wanted to like this place, but won't be back for a while

I did not realize this was a bar, I thought it was a Latin restaurant

Ordered my son a bean and cheese burrito. It was served cold, and not child size friendly

The bathroom and the high chair was dirty

The 16th St. Roller roll was very tasty, but not worth the price of a bar atmosphere

Had to ask for the waitess twice, while all the servers stood up front chit chatting, on their phones, instead of helping us

When I told the waitress about the cold burrito, she just looked at me confused

Really wish I could get this sushi roll in a different setting, at a better price

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. First and foremost, I want to say that the service was superb, the waitress was attentive and always in sight just incase we needed anything else. We started with Tortilla chips paired with delicious salsa. Then we ordered the spicy edamame which is highly rated and has a unique twist so I will definitely be ordering this again next time. Now let's talk sushi, this is my new spot for sushi!!! The sushi was an absolutely delicious delicacy, and just mouth watering overall -- some of the best sushi that I have ever had. If your in downtown Sacramento, check this place it out it's well worth it and you will not be disappointed.

We didn't eat here but the drinks we got and the complimentary chips and salsa were great! The drinks had just enough tequila and we definitely felt once we were done. The music and ambiance in this place was great. Good music. A real vibe! They just didn't have the type of food we wanted at the moment. Definitely worth a try!

Amazing ambiance. Amazing drinks food is a hit loved the corn and the guacamole is BOMB!

So I'm not gonna lie. I really did not like the lack of attention we received from the wait staff. We watched as other people had the order taken received water and their food while we waited. I got so frustrated that I decided to leave. We ended up at an Ernestos
