Metro Appliance Repair provided me one of the best appliance repair experiences of my life. When I called to describe my problem, they offered to come out that same afternoon to take a look. Mark arrived on time, and was courteous, knowledgable and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, and with the parts available in his truck, provided an estimate for me to decide if I wanted to move forward with the repair. Mark clearly described the needed repairs for my 20+ year old Sub-Zero fridge, and I felt assured I was being treated honestly and fairly. Mark worked into the evening repairing my fridge, completing the job when others may have wanted to call it a day. My Sub-Zero is working great now, and I am satisfied I will get many more years out on the fridge now that Mark and Metro Appliance have made some much-needed repairs. Mark is a consummate professional, I will go to them for future appliance repair needs. Highly recommended.

He ordered the part and came well prepared and easy to work with. He didn't mind that I asked lots of questions and kept checking in while he was working. He gave me a rough initial estimate over the phone, actually via text, after I explained in detail what the problem was because I knew exactly what the issue was. My old Bertazzoni m oven needed a new thermocouple for the oven. The oven wouldn't stay lit but nothing else was wrong with it. The first place I called was trying to rip me off so I'm so glad that I came back to Igor at Metro Appliance.

May 3, 2021Previous reviewThe did a great job on my old Dishwasher. it's a Kenmore unit and is from 2008 - it cost $1,350. it has a metal interior. So anyway it was worth paying $250 to fix the inlet valve. they were nice enough to honor the Yelp coupon discount without me having to take time to set it up. the $95 initial visit fee is very much in line with what others charge.

Alex helped diagnose my kitchen aid dishwasher problem within 30 minutes. He was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable and I really appreciate his professionalism and promptness. I'd spent time with another company and was waiting almost a month for them to diagnose and fix. Alex did it within 45 minutes and was so helpful!

My fridge had been dying a slow death for a while, cooling just a little less as time passed and making frost in the back of the freezer side. I had called someone else to come look at it, and they had removed all the frost from the back as well as the coils for a substantial amount of money, but that turned out to just delay the problem rather than fix it.
When it started getting bad again I called Metro and spoke to Alex, which was wonderful. Came by, took a look, and correctly found the actual problem. He gave me a good estimate, parts and labor, and was frank about whether after fixing that there could be other problems. I chose to go forward with the fix, he ordered the part (overnight! thank you) and came the next day literally as soon as the part came in. Happily, that did it! I was impressed by the good communication, prompt service and no nonsense estimate and diagnosis.

These guys are the best. Chose them after LG tried to set me up with a joke of a repair company. Metro Appliance Repair replied to my request within an hour and got me setup with an appointment the following day. Showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and even had the part on hand to fix while he was there. Couldn't be more happy with the service. We've had a ton of appliance issues and Metro has been great to work with. On our refrigerator, they diagnosed the issue over the phone and told us how to fix: no charge. On our washing machine they gave us the proper advice to replace and not repair, and on our dishwasher and oven they did excellent repair work. Excellent, honest, fast service.

Alex was very professional, responsive and helpful. We had a warm refrigerator, and he helped consult with us about what the problem could be. We ultimately decided not to repair due to the age of the unit, but would absolutely make Alex our first call again the next time we need repair services.

Overpriced, but speedy to respond and professional. They're not local to where I live. The address is nearby, but it's a retail store. I ended up calling the 800 number for Amana and paid $120 for a service call versus the $250 that this provider quoted me.

Alex is responsible and professional. Showed up and fixed the problem and didn't even charge my wife and said he would text me. I had to text him and he wanted to charge me just for a service call. I paid him double what he asked for and it's well deserved. He is professional, effective and fixed the problem right away.
