      These guys are amazing. I had a very peculiar problem with my GE monogram ice maker. They tried multiple approaches and finally solved the mystery. Importantly they only charged me one time even though they came out multiple times before it was solved. They were relentless!

      Much like many of these other reviews, Alex answered our call and before doing what so many of these other companies do (charge $X to come out and diagnose the problem that can be used against the actual repair), Alex asked a few questions about our broken door strike / door lock and told me that likely I only need to buy the very inexpensive door strike and I could repair it myself. He even went to the trouble of sending me which door strike I needed to purchase based on my washer model.

      I told him that my husband just wanted to pay him to come out and fix it and he said, "Are you sure? It is really easy." Sure enough, we ordered the part for less than $10, and fixed it ourselves. Wow, what an honest repairman! I wish I had called him first. Nothing was broken with the door lock itself, only the strike.

      The first guy we called didn't even do a proper diagnostic and charged me for the visit, told me I needed to buy new parts that he would charge me for the door lock mechanism, the strike and then the labor for almost $400. He didn't even open my washer to see if it was broken and was incredibly rude. Red flags everywhere and so I decided to do more review reading and found Alex.

      The next time we have an issue with ANY of our appliances, I will be calling Alex again. I want to work with a trustworthy businessman who actually does his job, is reasonable and practical.

      I'm writing this review, not only because I'd like to reward this honest man, but also so I have a place to go back and find him. Thank you Alex!

      He ordered the part and came well prepared and easy to work with. He didn't mind that I asked lots of questions and kept checking in while he was working. He gave me a rough initial estimate over the phone, actually via text, after I explained in detail what the problem was because I knew exactly what the issue was. My old Bertazzoni m oven needed a new thermocouple for the oven. The oven wouldn't stay lit but nothing else was wrong with it. The first place I called was trying to rip me off so I'm so glad that I came back to Igor at Metro Appliance.

      We've had a ton of appliance issues and Metro has been great to work with. On our refrigerator, they diagnosed the issue over the phone and told us how to fix: no charge. On our washing machine they gave us the proper advice to replace and not repair, and on our dishwasher and oven they did excellent repair work. Excellent, honest, fast service.

      Alex helped diagnose my kitchen aid dishwasher problem within 30 minutes. He was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable and I really appreciate his professionalism and promptness. I'd spent time with another company and was waiting almost a month for them to diagnose and fix. Alex did it within 45 minutes and was so helpful!
      I highly recommend reaching out to Alex and working with him!!

      Overpriced, but speedy to respond and professional. They're not local to where I live. The address is nearby, but it's a retail store. I ended up calling the 800 number for Amana and paid $120 for a service call versus the $250 that this provider quoted me.

      These guys are the best. Chose them after LG tried to set me up with a joke of a repair company. Metro Appliance Repair replied to my request within an hour and got me setup with an appointment the following day. Showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and even had the part on hand to fix while he was there. Couldn't be more happy with the service. Huge thanks to the entire team at Metro Appliance Repair. Save yourself some time and just give them a shout

      Alex was very professional, responsive and helpful. We had a warm refrigerator, and he helped consult with us about what the problem could be. We ultimately decided not to repair due to the age of the unit, but would absolutely make Alex our first call again the next time we need repair services.

      My fridge had been dying a slow death for a while, cooling just a little less as time passed and making frost in the back of the freezer side. I had called someone else to come look at it, and they had removed all the frost from the back as well as the coils for a substantial amount of money, but that turned out to just delay the problem rather than fix it.

      When it started getting bad again I called Metro and spoke to Alex, which was wonderful. Came by, took a look, and correctly found the actual problem. He gave me a good estimate, parts and labor, and was frank about whether after fixing that there could be other problems. I chose to go forward with the fix, he ordered the part (overnight! thank you) and came the next day literally as soon as the part came in. Happily, that did it! I was impressed by the good communication, prompt service and no nonsense estimate and diagnosis.

      As someone who could not be more appliance illiterate, I felt like I was getting honesty and deep experience (and speed), and I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!
