Foods are decent. The environment is nice, clean and welcoming. There are other dishes that i will come back to try out!

Walking into Pho 37 in Richmond, BC is like diving into a Vietnamese flavor party. The vibes are cozy, setting the scene for a culinary adventure that's straight-up lit. The pho steals the spotlight, a flavor bomb hitting all the right notes.
The broth's on another level - rich and aromatic, you can tell they've been cooking up some magic with those spices and bones. The rice noodles are perfection, with that ideal chewiness. And check it, the menu's got options for every taste, from beef to chicken, catering to all the flavor-craving homies.
But hold up - it's the condiments game that takes this joint to the next level. Garlic, sauces, you name it - they've got the hook-up. Customize your pho like a boss, and don't sleep on the fresh herbs and bean sprouts bringing those vibrant vibes.
Beyond the pho hustle, the menu flexes with other Vietnamese gems, showing mad love for authenticity and quality. The crew at Pho 37 keeps it real with friendly service, adding to the welcoming vibes. Prices are fair, giving you bang for your buck with portions that won't leave you hangry.
Whether you're a pho fanatic or just dipping your toes into Vietnamese eats, Pho 37 in Richmond is the spot. The condiment game here is the real MVP, turning a meal into a flavorful fiesta. Trust, this joint brings the flavor and the fun.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 5, 2023
=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE
My money's still with Pho Han (in north Richmond) which wins on price and taste; however, Pho 37 is close behind in taste, while winning on dine-in experience and parking availability.
=== 2. FOOD
Special Beef Noodle Pho ($15.95)
It's got a little bit of everything and the soup base is good - a little more runny than what is at Pho Han and so a little less flavourful too, but overall pretty decent. We specifically asked for no greens on top, but still got them anyway :)
Charbroiled Lemongrass Pork with Spring Rolls ($16.95)
Overall the meat was good and flavourful; the noodles are on par with other establishments. The spring rolls were different - cut diagonally and filled a little more than what may be found elsewhere - they were decent in my opinion!
=== 3. SERVICE
Service was reasonably quick and professional enough in English and Vietnamese (it seems, given the staff conversations between themselves and customers). Our server was cognizant of our toddler, and so brought hot tea for the adults and cool water for my little guy.
=== 4. ENVIRONMENT
It's a small-to-medium restaurant with dark tones but it all looks contemporary enough to have been built in the last 10-12 years. There are plenty of tables for groups 6 or smaller in size. There's not a ton of space between tables tho, so those with strollers and wheelchairs may find themselves stay with tables by the front door perhaps. However, the shopping complex parking lot is plentiful and beneficial for those with a Tesla, as superchargers were installed outside relatively recently.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Peter R.Vancouver, Canada011Jul 21, 2024
Very good Vietnamese food. All three locations were great. Really enjoyed the combo dishes.

It was a very rainy weekend so pho from Pho 37 was the perfect meal to eat to warm up my tummy.
Came here a little bit before the lunch rush so we were seated right away. It quickly became packed when we received our food. It's always extremely busy here during peak times and the space is small inside with limited seating - I suggest to come here early or during non-peak hours.
SATAY PEANUT NOODLES
The broth is so damn creamy and full of umami flavours. Definitely not a bland or boring broth to have with your noodles. Sipping on this makes you feel so warm and full. This dish is what I enjoyed most and the portion is massive. Highly recommend.
TUAN'S SPECIAL BEEF NOODLE
This place is known for their 'charred' tasting flavour in all their broths and this noodle bowl had so much of that flavour in the broth. It's so good and so comforting to sip on. So much flavour and extremely filling because they really piled on the beef slices, beef briskets and beef balls. It also comes with an egg yolk that you can pop and mix into your broth/noodles.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jacqueline W.Richmond, Canada145157190Sep 11, 2023
This USED to be my favourite viet place. Flavours and portions were on point! Went a few days ago and I was so disappointed. Not only are the portions smaller, but they have increased the price as well. Had one taste of their soup and it lacked flavour. Not sure what's going on. This used to be the place where i'd be happy to splurge on a few appetizers because it was just that good! They were known for their vermicelli bowls, but even those seem to have shrank.
No thanks, there are other better tasting Vietnamese places for the same (or lower) price piontHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 30, 2022
Top-notch vegetarian (vegan) pho out on Steveston Hwy, in Ironwood Plaza.
I went for Sunday lunch. It's a small place, about half full when I visited, decently spaced out and separated for Covid measures. I saw that they had a vegetable & tofu pho with veggie broth, and also offer a satay peanut version, so I went with the latter ($16.50 plus tax). The soup came out not much more than 5 minutes later. You get a massive bowl with thin rice noodles, mixed veggies (broccoli, cabbage, carrot, celery, thinly sliced white onion), and fried tofu. The broth was on the more delicate side compared to the satay peanut broths around town, but was lovely -- only lightly spicy, with a touch of sweetness, and a wonderful satay peanut character.
At $16.50 (plus tax and tip, so ~$20), it's one of the pricier bowls of pho in Greater Van, but the quality is so good that it's worth it. Good, quick service to round it out. I'll definitely return and/or try their other locations. Highly recommended.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 11, 2023
Food was clean and delicious! They didn't have Avocado smoothie so that's why it's four stars out of five because most Vietnamese restaurants have Avocado smoothie. This place gives a good amount of portion for meat, I couldn't finish my food so I took it to go. Their pho was also delicious although it came out fast but it was fresh! (I forgot to take photos because I was too hungry).

Located at Ironwood Mall near 5rd & Steveston Highway, this area is busy but with ample parking.
Pho 37 is a small restaurant holding approx 50.
Very cool pictures & deco adorn this restaurant.
The Seafood Crispy Chow Mien, Yellow Curry Chicken & Lemon Grass Chicken with Shrimp Rolls & Salad - excellent!!!
The taste is truly exceptional - I concur!
What solidified the whole Pho 37 experience - the Vietnamese Ice Coffee at the end!
Order this midway through your meal & let it drip!
All I could say was ... ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Another not so hidden gem found in A strip mall in richmond bc.
Been driving by this place a million times and never knew it stewed something special inside.
The famous Tuan's Pho special. - now what makes this dish so special? Its the only pho place that i know that serves Pho this way. First, they stir fry some of the beef and then included it in the soup together with some rare beef. It gave the soup extra flavour. Next, before serving, the server said they sprinkle it with something extra to give it more aroma and extra flavour. After tasting it, im 95% sure its ground cinnamon. It provided an extra sweetness to the soup which blended well with the pho broth. Lastly, it also comes with a poached egg! Bam! It is very gooood!!!
Tried the banh mi - bbq pork one. Wow! One of the best for sure! Their bread and the bbq pork marinade took it to new levels. The bread was crusty and yet soft on the inside. Not too thick but just right. The bbq pork was marinaded perfectly. Right amount of sweetness and smokiness. Filled with veggies and secret spread.
Absolutely amazing! Easily in my Top 2 best banh mi in Yvr. The Top 1 on my list is in Victoria Drive..;)
Service was quick and efficient. Excellent covid protocols too.
Will be back for sure!
Cheers! Happy eating!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
