Prime HVAC & Appliance Repair

I had Kim, senior service technician, this morning. His service was excellent and very knowledgeable about refrigerator repair. I appreciate his honest opinion as well as superb workmanship. I would definitely recommend Kim and Prime HVAC.

Very happy with Prime HVAC & Appliance Repair!

* Prime reach out to me immediately regarding my broken dryer, and was able to accommodate an appointment time that worked for us, along with pricing details up front. (Might sound silly but we have so many service techs that want to come over in the PM hours which just doesn't work for us. It was nice to have someone work with our schedule.)
* They confirmed the appointment, let me know when they were in route via text AND showed up 10 minutes early!! ( we've had so many no shows, or reschedules, another refreshing surprise).
* Tony got right to work, and was able to work in the area where the dryer was without any problems
* Tony had the dryer diagnosed within 20 mins, and offered a fair price.
* I didn't expect the dryer to be repaired in the same visit, I assumed we'd have to schedule a more invasive appointment. Nope, he said he'd do what he could today and if he had to come back he would. Tony had everything repaired within 1 hour ( if not less).
* payment transaction was so easy. They take cash,check, card. (Another pain I've experienced with others, so this was so great that using a check or card wasn't a problem at all).

The service appointment couldn't have gone smoother, and I am a very happy customer. Would recommend and will be returning.

I'm super happy with this company. They're honest. They're nice. They're helpful. They take the time to explain things. They didn't mind when I asked them to wear a mask in my house (I'm very COVID cautious).

I used another company to fix my washer once before (it was 4wires), and I had a feeling that place overcharged me, but I never knew for sure. I told the tech from Prime HVAC about the repair I had done before and he said they only charge a little over half of what I was charged by the other place. Grrrr.

I will use Prime HVAC forevermore. Great service.

Drier repair. Fun !
My five year old drier was acting up.
Instead, I called Prime , they had good reviews and the call center was open very late the evening I was searching around. Everyone else was closed.

They scheduled for the next morning , they texted on the way and they showed up on time.
Tony quoted me before he started and stuck to original quote. Reasonable price and saved me from replacing the appliance.
I'm happy.
These days , showing up on time and doing a good service gets 5 stars from me.
Tony was polite and seemed to know how to fix things. He had the part in his trunk.
Fast and friendly. I'd use them again and recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about Kim at Prime HVAC & Appliance Repair. I got a quick response on my request for service through the Yelp app, he was very clear about cost and expectations for the repair of my washer, was more than fair on pricing, great with communication, and was on-time and ahead of time for both visits to my house. The appliance store in Elk Grove that I've used in the past that charges more than double just to come out has been replaced. I highly recommend calling Kim at Prime!!

So happy with Prime HVAC. They came out same day to look at our fridge. Bad compressor. Kim did a fantastic job repairing our fridge.

I will definitely use them again for any of our needs. You can't go wrong with!

Ok these guys are legit! In less then 24 hours they responded, sent a tech out to my house (Kim) and already diagnosed my problem. Kim was early confirmed via text, was courteous and very honest and open about my situation without any pressure.
If you want a quick to the point honest job done call them.

I used their services to fix my refrigerator and they were very good at what they do!

Kim was prompt and an expert. He fixed the problem and also answered all my questions after!

I will definitely use them if and when I need them.

Tony came by on the weekend to go over my refrigerator, the refrigerator door needed to be fixed or adjusted, water was coming from the bottom of refrigerator and ice maker needed to be replaced.

He stayed for 30 minutes and I paid him $65 fee to come out. I would NEVER hire him. He told me the door would always be like that, but he would replace the strip magnet and it might fix it. (4Wire Appliance came out and said it was a washer that was not added to the screw on the door.) Tony did not even give me that option. Failed!

Tony said the reason my refrigerator was leaking water was a water line had food or and some kind of food particles in it. (4Wire Appliance said it has nothing to do with the line, condenser was blocked, and all lines were clear. 4Wire cleaned condenser and removed the ice build up) Everything works great with new ice maker. And costed me a lot less, since 4Wire Appliance had more knowledge than Tony.

I do not recommend Tony, I'm not sure about their other employees, I hope they have more knowledge than Tony.

I picked this company from a number of bids after letting Yelp send my ice maker problem out for bid...I chose poorly.

First they scheduled an appointment, then they cancelled it, then they called me, and I'm not being hyperbolic, 7 times trying to reschedule while I was at a meeting. I finally had to step out to take the call and tell them to stop.

So a guy ended up showing up for the appointment they cancelled (kinda creepy) anyways. He was there for maybe 10 minutes, did all the things we had already done, told me I owed him $85 and that he needed to order a $250 part and would be back at some point in the future to replace something...for another $250 service fee.

My wife couldn't believe our 3 year old appliance needed a $500 repair already so she googled the problem some more and ended up fixing it. I reached out to cancel the part and replacement service and now the company is ghosting me. Well, kinda. They're still sending me invoices for the part and service I cancelled.

Like I said, I chose poorly. Don't do the same. Go anywhere else!

UPDATE 1: So apparently while they're happy to ignore my texts/emails regarding the repeated invoices they shouldn't be sending me, they had NO problem calling me on a Saturday to discuss my Yelp review...shows what they really care about. #terriblecustomerservice

UPDATE 2: Since I've posted a negative review I've been notified my deposit has been refunded. Noted.

Absolutely recommend this company! They answered immediately to my request and came the next morning. Kim texted me when he was on the way here and arrived sooner than quoted. He thoroughly looked over my LG washer and explained very detailed the issue with it . He was amazing
