Public Parking

I wouldn't rate this garage as much of a bargain. I was charged $12 for parking during a recent show at The Fillmore. Also, the machine used for payment wouldn't accept my credit card; fortunately, I had the cash. Otherwise, the garage is OK: pretty well lighted and easy to navigate. It's also very convenient for The Fillmore and SF Yoshi's.

Don't park here if you're going to The Fillmore. They close at 8 and your car will be trapped until the next day. I got stuck in San Francisco overnight and had to get a hotel room to wait for the garage to open. There were a dozen of us who had cars locked in the garage.

DO NOT PARK HERE! The attendant absolutely screwed about 10 of us whose cars got locked in here. The signs all said closed at 8 but he told all of us (6 separate cars) that it is special event hours and will close at 11pm since there was a concert at The Fillmore that we were all attending. We parked at 7:40pm and returned at 10:45pm and the entire place was locked, garage doors down and all. Why say you'll be open til 11pm and then close at 8pm - twenty minutes after we parked??? Ended up calling 311, the number on the sign, and the police and no one could help us. Thankfully after waiting with the police for an hour someone who parks there full time happened to be coming home and was able to use his key card to open it for us. The PD said they have this on record as happening several times. Absolute scum bag of an attendant.

After our show at the Fillmore we and about a dozen other cars are getting an error message saying "bad card" on the exit. stuck for 20
minutes. Tried again and again and finally got out. Still about 10 cars stuck down there trying to go home. Fix your card reader!

Convenient. Cheap. Don't have to go outside to get my jazzy drink on. What more could you ask for in a garage?

the sign says 2 for 2 hr monday to friday, without any even small explaination that evening have different. i park 1 hr and it turn out to be 12$. Shame on they, using this way to cheating customer.

convenient place for folks to park in the fillmore area! beats going around the neighborhood looking for street parking. not to mention cheap as well.
