San Francisco Heating and Cooling

Just recently one of the furnaces in my small building stopped working right when the weather turned colder and my tenants were desperate to have it fixed asap. I called San Francisco Heating and Cooling to see how soon they could take care of the problem and the owner (Pablo) understood I was dealing with unhappy tenants and said he would check with his technician. Within an hour I had a call back from Carlos the technician who said he was on a job but maybe he could go later that day and would let me know. About another hour later Carlos called back and said he could go that afternoon. Carlos was very friendly with a wonderful attitude and was quite sure he could fix the issue.
In fact Carlos did meet with my tenants that Saturday afternoon and he found a wiring issue that he was kind enough to fix rather than saying it was not in his bailiwick and referring me elsewhere. I was extremely happy with his service, he was just a great guy.
There was a subsequent disagreement about the charge for the visit which was very high. Because of that, I got in touch with the owner Pablo who was so very genuine and kind and understood me completely and we quickly reached an agreement that we were both comfortable with. Pablo is a truly honest business man who genuinely cares about his company and keeping his customers happy. I will definitely refer him to all other property owners who need any kind of furnace service work or replacement. My hat is off to Carlos for his true diligence and competence as well as to Pablo who is really customer focused. I will definitely make them my number one company to call for any future heating issues I may have. Many many thanks to a 10 star business. Wishing you a great New Year.

I've called SFH&C a few times for help with our home furnace, and have worked with Carlos each time. He has an efficiency in thought and communication that helped get right to the bottom of the issue each time, and he was a pleasure to work with. The second time we needed help--it turned out that our draft limiter switch had flipped--he didn't charge us, even though he'd made a house call, because the issue took seconds to fix. Most recently, he guided me over the phone at no charge on how to fix an issue. I'll gladly call Carlos at SFH&C again for any future heater/furnace needs.

Sunday morning. Our furnace is dead. An atmospheric river is bearing down on San Francisco.

After half a dozen calls, I got in touch with SF Heating and Cooling. Their man Dennis got back to me in 10 minutes after the initial call. In another 10 he was here. Turns out he lives in our neighborhood and had just picked up his morning coffee from McDonalds.

Dennis diagnosed the problem immediately and we chatted out our neighborhood while the furnace cycled. The ignitor had gone bad as I suspected and Dennis diagnosed immediately.

In another 10 minutes, we were up and running again and ready for the rain and chill. I'm very happy to rate SF Heating... with all 5 stars.

This company absolutely deserves their 5 star rating. Our furnace broke down over the weekend and a technician showed within 2 hours of making the phone call. Pablo was clearly very competent and explained the issue in detail. He provided a couple of options but we decided to go with a full replacement of our unit. I really felt he did his best to help drive down the cost for us. The crew came two days later, on time, and finished ahead of schedule. The crew was efficient and respectful of our property which really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend them again, fantastic experience end to end!

After calling 2 other HVAC Service Companies, I landed on San Francisco Heating and Cooling, which BY FAR is the Most Helpful and Straight Forward and did not give me the run around, like the other 2 companies did.

The Front Desk/Dispatcher took my info and within a few minutes, Carlos the Technician gave me a call back, and walked me thru a quick testing process, verifying my thermostat (and not the heater) was defective.

He was able to help me schedule a Quick, Next Day Install!

I really appreciate this company, and would definitely recommend it to everyone!!

SF Heating and Cooling were very easy to engage with. Over the phone we described our situation (heater wouldn't turn on). The gentleman asked for pics of the unit and said a technician would reach out to us shortly. That's exactly what happened. A little while later a tech called, talked about the pics and made a date to come by. He came by on time, diagnosed the issue, had the parts in his truck, zip zap done.

Super explanatory. Friendly. Professional. Efficient.

Dennis helped me troubleshoot my thermostat issues over the phone and was super helpful via text. He didn't charge me anything for the time he spent diagnosing my issue and educating me on the solution. I will definitely return to this company in the future for any future needs and recommend them to anyone else.

Pablo and his team (Moses and Wilbur) installed a new furnace for me today in Half Moon Bay. They did an excellent job and the price was very competitive. Highly recommend these guys!

Called NYE morning, got immediate service and he was able to fix the issue despite our furnace being an uncommon brand, and was incredibly easy and nice to work with. Highly recommend!

If you want a contractor to come in and treat your home like it was his own, SF Heating is your company. I've seen a lot of Pablo's work, and it's always clean and beautiful when he's done. And if there were an issue, he'd be right there to make it right .
And he's not out to rip you off. I've done a lot of business with SF Htg, and he is a caring person. I refer my mom to him.

Unbelievable! I phoned the main number. Their technician called me back within 15 minutes. He asked some questions then had me text him some photos and a video of the LED diagnostic light. Then called me back and BAM! He had the solution, told me how to do a reset over the phone, and so far it has worked fine. It was so cool, saved me a house call visit, and got my heat back. And also a very nice and cool dude. The huge storm had created a downdraft that had tripped one of the safety sensors. I just needed to do a reset.
This heater is old and I'm going to need a new one soon. I am DEFINITELY calling these guys back. Also fo rany HVAC service. Carlos is the man!
