I gave an extra star to our waiter--Cho! He made our meal memorable and satisfying. We ordered BBQ combo for 3 people--enough for four with leftovers to take home.

The seafood pancakes were crunchy and delicious--yummy!

Great restaurant! Able to get a seat really quickly at around 1pm on Friday. We ordered the BBQ combo and it was great -- SO MUCH FOOD!! And the waitress cooked it for us which was nice but unexpected. They were also very accommodating for vegetarian options

Came in today and it would have been a 3-4 star if not for the bad service. Came in, greeted by one of the male servers and he said he'll go prepare our table / look for a table. When he left, a female server came and asked us if we had a reservation because if we didn't we'd have to wait awhile to see if they had booths open. I'm sorry but I only saw ONE family in ONE booth, the rest were empty. Furthermore nowhere around the restaurant said they take reservations ONLY. The restaurant didn't look high end enough for me to take reservations. Then she left. She was rather rude upon talking to us and seemed a little off. I don't think the male & female servers were communicating well with each other. Then about 2 minutes later, the male server came back and seated us. Umm...ok.

The food was really good and I mean really good. Maybe it's because we walked from our hotel and we were hungry. Ordered a BBQ combo, kimchi jjigae, lemon pepper chicken & the dolsot bibimbap. The dolsot bibimbap was good, it could be better and I've had better. The kimchi jjigae broth was abnormally very sweet and salty. It was an odd mix. I mean the kimchi is already salty and sour, there's tofu, small bits & pieces of pork and also some veggies. Mostly kimchi. It was filling. The lemon pepper chicken was actually the one I liked the most. It's basically battered similar to popcorn chicken in a lemon pepper sticky sauce. I recommend this dish. The BBQ combo ribs were chewy and good. We were only given 4 banchan which was on the skimpy side. If you want more, ask and they'll give it to you. I've been to plenty of korean restaurants in the US where they give you 7 banchan and are tastier too. Kimchi was bleh, spinach salad (honestly you call that a salad?) looked like they sprinkled on the dressing, bean sprouts, and potatoes were a-ok.

Service here sucked. There was some miscommunication (seemed like it) between the male & female server in the beginning. For the most part the female server was anything but nice. I felt like she looked down on us and didn't want us to be there. After they served the food, they NEVER checked in on us. They didn't hover, they didn't so much as look at us. It was brought to my attention that they checked in on their OTHER patrons. Meaning their locals. It was hard to flag down the servers for just about anything: water, napkins, more sides. The female waitresses don't pay attention to us. They were basically standing around waiting for us to leave. We flagged down the male server for our check and he brought it out.

The only thing I liked was their lemon pepper chicken and the male server who seemed decent enough. If you want authentic korean food with good service, go somewhere else.
