Top Hat Cleaning

Cleaning job was adequate however I think they are overpriced. Mold/ mildew still on bathtub grout. If you want to charge architect type hourly rates, than of course you better be flawless. Will not be a repeat customer for sure.

I needed to move out of my apartment on March 31 and didn't feel like cleaning our old apartment after a big move. I called Top Hat and gave them the list my landlord handed to me when they found out we were moving out. I just gave my list over to Top Hat and left it there. No complaints. Got my deposit back. Very happy with their work. Will definitely hire them again if I need move out cleaning done.

Not really sure where the other reviews are getting their info, but I had a great experience with them!
I called on a Monday, and they were able to fit my move out clean on a Wednesday evening. I passed my move out inspection with flying colors. My landlord even commented on how most folks don't leave the place as clean as I did.
They were efficient with time management, and even let me know of the couple things they couldn't get completely clean [which were no fault of theirs, it had to do with the appliance being old].
Check out their reviews on Google, as they are vastly different from this site.

Overall, my experience with Top Hat was positive when I called them in for a complete 1-bedroom move-out clean with carpet cleaning. Tara and crew arrived on time, worked quickly, and cleaned impeccably. Although the price was pretty high, I'm very satisfied with the results, and found Tara to be professional and personable. I'd give another star, but for the price.

I see other poor reviews here, but I didn't experience anything like those reviewers.

I am happy to give this cleaning service a perfect review. Communication was excellent. They arrived punctually and set to work immediately. These ladies do not waste any time, but do not cut corners either. My home was cleaned thoroughly with care and attention to detail. Everything sparkles and a lovely, fresh fragrance lingers in every room. I am so pleased with Tara and her assistant, I am going to have them do a regular monthly clean. Highly recommended!!!

Just finished with Top Hat Cleaning Service. They cleaned our 500 sq ft rental apartment for a move out cleaning. The tenant did a pretty good job cleaning the apartment before they moved out, but it needed a "deep clean".

Top Hat was easy to connect with and replied to my email inquires right away. They arrived, got to work, and finished when they said they would. Having the option to pay debit was also super useful as most cleaning services in the past only take cheques or cash.

The apartment was cleaned nicely and I am happy with their service.

I would recommend Top Hat for move out cleaning.


Ps - I rarely give 5 stars for anything. I'd have to have my mind blown or a near religious experience in service.

I did some research and chose Top Hat for a move in clean over a year ago. For the price we paid (which was incredibly expensive), the cleaning was average and definitely not worth the money. When I expressed my disappointment with them and had an issue about the stove, my main contact there was hostile, rude and made it sound like I was such an inconvenience to her. There are a lot of other companies who offer cleaning services for better value. Perhaps I would have had lower expectations if they charged less money.

Unfortunately this is a situation where if we could offer no stars, we would. We had nothing but problems from the beginning with Top Hat, and I would be loathe to recommend this company.

Perhaps things have improved in recent months but our experience was very negative, both with respect to the cleaning job actually done (average at best) but most especially with the customer service and reliability.

The company was difficult to reach to schedule a cleaning, failing to return phone calls. Most frustrating though was that the cleaners failed to show up not once, not twice but three times. When dealing with the main office about one of the no shows, the woman implied that it was us that had written down the wrong dates, and she sounded highly inconvenienced that I was calling as she was on her way out of town for the weekend. Not exactly stellar customer service! While she eventually said they would call back to re-schedule the cleaning that we had pre-paid, she never did and we found dealing with the company so frustrating that we eventually gave up.

Glad to see that others have had better results - for us personally we would recommend anyone BUT Top Hat.

My cousin arranged for Top Hat to come in and clean my grandmother's apartment. They did a fantastic job; everything was sparkling and they respected the arrangement of her things. I am very happy with them and will be recommending them!

I do not have enough words to describe how amazing our experience was with Top Hat Cleaning Services. We were moving out of our condo and I had too much going on to worry about the move out clean. The ladies arrived on time and got right to work. And work they did! They really went above and beyond anything I would have expected. All of our rooms glistened at the end, every part of the kitchen was spotless and we even had them clean the carpets which turned out fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs fantastic cleaners!
