I recently had the misfortune of my washer breaking down and needed a reliable repair service. I contacted Triton Appliance Repair and was very impressed with their prompt response and professionalism. Konstatin came and quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary part, and returned promptly by the end of the week to fix the washer. He showed up on time, completed the work efficiently, and the price was very reasonable. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided and would highly recommend Triton Appliance Repair to anyone in need of appliance repair services.

We recently had an issue with our refrigerator leaking water from the bottom, causing a big puddle on the floor. This would happen every few days. I spoke to someone from Triton, and they scheduled a technician to come out that afternoon.

Veet came right on time, emptied the freezer, took it apart, and found the issue. He showed me where the problem was, gave me an estimate for the repair, and after I accepted, fixed my freezer in about an hour. Veet even cleaned up the crumbs that had accumulated underneath the refrigerator. It's been a week now, and everything is still working perfectly.

My dishwasher kept running for a whole night and Triton appliance repair confirmed my appointment right away on the weekend. The communication was great.

Konstantin identified the issue (old sensor) right away and ordered the part. When he came back with the part, he fixed the dishwasher quickly. He also helped with fixing my dryer (need to replace the Dryer drum rollers) as well. He is such an expert on all the appliances.

I was looking for someone to help fix my dryer, as we did not want to purchase a new one. I like to shop small and local business and I first found this company on Yelp! I had a technician, by the name of Veet first come to my home, and within 20 minutes, he figured out what the issue was. He ordered parts and came back in about a week to finish the work and I am very happy!

What sets this place apart is first, the ease of utilizing their appointment system online and via telephone as I had to change my second appointment last minute. Plus, when Veet said he would be at my house between 0800 and 1000, he came, sharply at 8am, both times! Very considerate on the time schedule and he was so nice! I will be definitely using this company in the future and recommending to all my friends / family!

Up front price quotes. Came the same day and ordered parts then returned to install the parts. Fast and efficient. Cleaned up after themselves. Perfect!

My Kenmore refrigerator broke. Ivan from Triton came over and did a great job. He installed parts and cleared a blockage that took quite a while. But he was able to get it working. Very satisfied I called Triton. They were very responsive and booked the repair for the next day after I called. They had a discount on their Yelp page which I greatly appreciated. If any of my appliances break, Triton would be my first call.

22 months after repairing my LG WM3488HS washer/dryer combo, the machine failed again. I reached out to Triton Appliance Repair again since they did such a good job last time. This time was not quite as good of an experience. When I booked the appointment, I asked that the technician review the notes from the last visit since it seemed like the same or a similar problem. A couple of issues straight off the bat, when the technician arrived, he had someone with him, which was odd. He explained that it was an apprentice in training. I'm fine with that, but I would have appreciated knowing in advance. I have a dog who already isn't thrilled with strangers in the house, so now two strangers. Not to mention that there was a lot of talking back and forth, for the training, which was distracting as I was trying to work in the room next door. Also, it wasn't obvious to me that the technician had actually read the notes (he claimed that he had, but couldn't articulate what the problem was the last time). Also, it was hard to get a quote on what repairs would be, i.e. total cost, since he indicated that he found a couple of issues. He indicated that he could fix the immediate problem, and that I could wait on the other issue. When I asked how long the unit would potentially last, he couldn't give me any idea. I asked if we're talking weeks, months, years? He couldn't say. I finally decided that I would just pay the visit service fee ($89), and replace the unit. The quote was somewhere between $460 and $700+... and given that I'd already paid almost $400 for the service visit 22 months ago, and I could buy a new unit for $1,000-$1,500, I would just do that instead of dumping more money into repair for a unit which clearly was on its way out (it would have been nice if the technician had recommended that). All in all, it was just a mediocre experience this time, compared with the last service call which really was stellar.

TL;DR: I had a poor experience that, in the end, was addressed by management.

UPDATE
A Triton supervisor reached out by phone to apologize and ended up refunding me for the inspection fee, which I appreciate. He also tried to explain the pricing and the diagnosis process, which did little to increase my confidence in the company. As a result of the company taking action to do the only thing they could to try and make things right, I updated my review to 3 stars.

Situation
I contacted Triton Appliance Repair for help with a 4-year-old KitchenAid dishwasher that wasn't draining. I suspected there might be something stuck in the drain. The filters were clean, so I wanted some professional help getting it draining normally again.

The Good
Triton was responsive to my initial request and quick to schedule an appointment. The service person gave me a heads up when they were on their way and their ETA was accurate.

The Gray
They arrived ~1 hour before the scheduled appointment window. It wasn't a problem, but it's most convenient when people arrive during the time scheduled.

The Bad
The repair person that came out did even less than I did to troubleshoot the issue -- they simply ran the dishwasher and diagnosed an issue with the drain pump and that it needs to be replaced. They said it will take 3-5 business days for parts and cost ~$400 for parts & labor. When asked about simply cleaning out the drain to remove any debris, they sent an invoice for about the same amount as replacing the pump.

Just for coming out and running the dishwasher to see there's a problem, they charged me $89.

Because of the poor experience, I did not hire them for additional work.

Instead, I hired a 5-star reviewed business and had the drain line cleaned out -- there was debris clogging the line. The pump is fine, doesn't need to be replaced. And the 5-star rated business only charged me $95 for cleaning out the drain line and air gap.

Clearly others have had better experiences, but in my instance, Triton failed to deliver quality service, and it felt like they're just out to make a quick buck. The least they could've done is waived the inspection fee, since they didn't provide a thorough inspection or accurately diagnose the problem.

Lessons learned
1. Stick with 5-star rated businesses
2. Don't agree to pay for someone to "take a look". Hire people to actually do some work that might help.

Veet fixed a controller unit in our Viking fridge. He was able to quickly identify the issue and get a part ordered for installation a few days later. He was personable and a pleasure to work with. Thanks Veet.

Dryer pump replacement was needed for a Bosch series 300. The office had multiple people help on various calls regarding estimate, part turn around time, and installation availability. The service, friendliness, and professionalism was consistent. The process was efficient, effective, and pleasantly smooth.

The on-site technician, Paul, was respectful and explained everything. He even showed there is a table between the washer and dryer.
