Purpose of the IRB
The Bellevue University Institutional Review Board (IRB) assists our faculty and student researchers by providing ethics training for research with human subjects and evaluating studies to protect the rights and well-being of participants and researchers. The IRB helps to minimize the liability risk of the institution and associated parties.
The Institutional Review Board provides oversight and information on how to conduct research with human subjects while meeting our legal and ethical obligations.
