Sydney Miller is in her third season as an assistant coach for the St. Olaf volleyball program in 2023-24 after joining head coach Emily Foster's staff on June 25, 2021.

In Miller's two seasons on staff, St. Olaf has posted an overall record of 30-26 (.536), including going 16-6 (.727) in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play. The Oles qualified for the MIAC Playoffs in both seasons, advancing to the semifinals in 2021 and the championship match in 2022.

A former volleyball student-athlete at NCAA Division II Northern State University, Miller also served as a coach for Vital Volleyball Club since August of 2020 and coached the Burnsville High School junior varsity program during the 2020 season.

During her four-year career at Northern State from 2016-19, Miller was part of a program that won back-to-back Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) championships in 2018 and 2019 and appeared in the regional rounds of the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship in each of her final three seasons. While competing in the highly-competitive NSIC, the Wolves went 90-30 (.750) over Miller’s career.

Miller graduated from Northern State with a bachelor of science in psychology and minors in sociology and criminal justice in 2020. The former Minneapolis Washburn High School standout was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team as a senior and was named to the Dean’s List multiple times.
