Hannah Robb is in her fourth year at St. Olaf in 2024-25 and serves as the athletics creative and digital media strategist. Robb spent the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years as the department's creative and digital media manager in a position funded by the NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women's Internship grant before moving into the newly-formed full-time position of athletics creative and digital media strategist.
Robb's primary responsibilities are generating content for the St. Olaf Athletics website and social media accounts. She also oversees a staff of student photographers and videographers and is the department's primary graphic designer.
In June 2024, Robb was honored as the
College Sports Communicators (CSC) College Division Photographer of the Year at the annual CSC Convention in Las Vegas. Her
portfolio of 2025 photos from the 2023-24 academic year was selected as the best in the country among NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA institutions, as well as Canadian schools, two-year colleges, and high schools.Â
A December 2020 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a bachelor of science in stage and screen arts/communication studies, Robb played four years of volleyball for the Falcons and worked in athletic media operations. After graduation, she worked as the director of photography/editor for The Remember Project.
During her time working in athletic media operations at UW-River Falls, Robb generated multimedia materials to promote the department's teams and student-athletes, including pre/post-game graphics, recruiting posters, and social media content. She also conceptualized, shot, and edited various videos for the department, including team teasers, diversity and inclusion campaign videos, and highlight packages, and worked extensively with the department's live streaming platform.
During her four years as a member of the UW-River Falls volleyball program, Robb played in all 136 matches for the Falcons from 2016-19, recording 2,467 digs, 342 assists, and 165 aces while averaging over 5.0 digs per set for her career. In 2019, she was named an Academic All-District ® and Second Team Academic All-America ® honoree by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Robb was named to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) All-Defensive Team three times and was a two-time All-WIAC selection, including being named to the All-WIAC First Team in 2019.
After graduatingÂ
summa cum laude in December 2020, Robb worked as the director of photography and editor for The Remember Project in Minneapolis. There, she shot and edited a short documentary, oversaw the filming of three stage plays as director of photography and lead camera operator, and served as the chief engineer for more than a dozen virtual play showings.
