Katie Luckraft

Katie (Connelly) Luckraft is in her 12th season with the head women's golf coach at St. Olaf in 2024-25 and currently serves as a volunteer assistant coach. She was the head coach for 11 seasons from 2013-14 through 2023-24.

The 2022 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Coach of the Year, Luckraft has coached eight student-athetes to All-MIAC accolades in her time at St. Olaf, including seven over the last six seasons. Bergen Senf '24 became the program's first-ever four-time All-MIAC honoree in 2023-24 and earned Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Region 3 honorees in 2021-22.

Luckraft's teams have also excelled academically, earning a variety of team and individual academic accolades. In 2023-24, St. Olaf produced two College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees, three Academic All-MIAC honorees, and six WGCA All-American Scholars.

Luckraft golfed at the University of Wisconsin and graduated in 2003 with a career scoring average of 77.79, which ranked second in school history at that time. She won 2003 NCAA Central Regional Individual medalist honors which helped the Badgers make their first NCAA National Championship appearance. Luckraft was a three-time All-Big Ten and Academic All-Big Ten selection. 

After her college career, Luckraft spent three seasons playing professionally on the Duramed Futures Tour. She went on to coach at Edgewood College for two years and helped lead the Eagles to their first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) title.
