California Desert Association of REALTORS® Breaking Ground Oct. 30 For Major Remodeling Of Coachella Valley Headquarters

PALM DESERT (Calif.) – The California Desert Association of REALTORS® is breaking ground Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. for a major remodeling of their Coachella Valley headquarters at 44475 Monterey Avenue to better serve its members from Palm Springs to Blythe.

The new CDAR campus, which will encompass over 7,000 square feet, is expected to be completed in mid-2019, according to Diane Busch, 2018 President of the California Desert Association of REALTORS®.

“This is a chance to provide our members with a cutting-edge association where members can grow and thrive professionally,” Busch said. “This project has received generous support from our membership, and we are proud of all the hard work that the Building Remodel Task Force has accomplished so far. And by helping our REALTOR members become more productive, we in turn are helping home buyers and sellers in the throughout the Coachella Valley.”

The project will also create convenient access to the parking areas on both sides of the building. Members and visitors will be able to enter the building from either parking lot. A brand-new conference room will be created separate from the building, and the existing auditorium will be expanded and improved with state-of-the-art technological improvements. The sleek modern building was designed by a local architect and will be constructed by local builders.

The October 30 groundbreaking ceremony will feature the leadership of the California Desert Association of REALTORS®, including Busch and Association Executive Annette Coffey.

The Association, founded in 1958, represents more than 3,700 real estate professionals from Palm Springs to Blythe in an area with a population that averages around 500,000 throughout the year.
