Canton Closes Roadway Through Wednesday

CANTON, CT — Canton officials shut down a local roadway Monday due to sewer and water work in the area, a closure that will continue through Wednesday.

A portion of Dyer Avenue, near the new Collinsville firehouse, was closed Monday, Jan. 22, and it will be closed through Wednesday, Jan. 24.

On Monday and Tuesday crews will be working on connecting water and Wednesday they will be paving the area.

"Please use caution in this area," wrote the town. "Emergency vehicles and school buses will be allowed to pass. All other vehicles, please seek alternate routes."
