Canton Traffic To Be Impacted By Tree Work

CANTON, CT — Motorists are being asked to be both cautious and patient Tuesday in the Main Street area downtown.

That's because tree work will be performed on Tuesday, May 2, at the intersection of Main Street and the Canton Green from 7 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m.

One lane of green will be open to allow emergency vehicles and local traffic to pass. A portion of the sidewalk will also be closed.

"Please use caution in this area," wrote the Town of Canton. "Thank you for your patience and cooperation. "
