Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. is excited to be taking part in #GivingTuesdaythat starts on November 28th! Some look at Black Friday and Cyber Monday as events to kick off the holiday season. But for nonprofits, like ourselves, we look forward to #GivingTuesday, a day set aside across the globe that encourages the spirit of giving.
Ledyard Citizens Helping Animals In Need will be taking part in #GivingTuesday and hope that you will help us in kicking off this event by "GIVNG 2" FOR #GIVINGTUESDAY!!!!! We also have a Facebook page for the event at: https://www.facebook.com/event...
So, what does "Giving 2" mean? Well, that is entirely up to you. Here are some ideas:
- For the pets maybe you can give 2 items such as canned food, dry food, treats, towels, blankets, toys, etc.
- If you are active you can sign up for one of our FREE apps found on our donate page and walk 2 miles!
- Are you a business that could let us put a pet food donation box in your business for 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 months!
- Are you a crafter? Maybe you could make and donate 2 of your creations to us to sell or offer as a raffle at one of our events?
- Are you a radio station? C.H.A.I.N. would love 2 minutes of air time to tell the community what we are up to and our current needs!
- Go to our Facebook page or our website and give $2!
- Share this post, our Facebook page, our website URL to 2 people, or if you are really popular maybe 20 people!!
- Bring 2 people with you to our Whiskers in Wonderland event on Dec. 2nd from 1-4 pm at the Gales Ferry Firehouse! I promise you will have fun!
