Westport Warns Residents Of Flooding

WESTPORT, CT — A coastal flood warning is in effect for Westport and Connecticut from 4 p.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Additionally, Westport officials warned that parts of the town could see flooding overnight. Heavy winds and rain have pounded the state on Wednesday.

"Significant coastal flooding is expected at high tide today at 7:35pm & tomorrow at 8:00am," officials wrote. "[Please] move your vehicle from low-lying areas."
