2 Injured In Marietta Crash; Info Sought From Witnesses

Two people had to be taken to a hospital after being injured in the Marietta crash, one in critical condition and one in stable condition.

MARIETTA, GA β€” Two people were injured in a crash Thursday in Marietta, and police are asking for any witnesses to come forward with information.

Marietta Police said the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. at Barrett Parkway near Village Green.

The 68-year-old female driver of a 2017 Mazda CX-5 was headed north on Barrett, turning left onto Village Green, while the 28-year-old male driver of a 2019 Dodge Ram was simultaneously going south on Barrett, police said.

They crashed at the intersection, injuring both drivers, police said.

The woman was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in critical condition, and the man was taken to Wellstar in stable condition, police said.
