Construction Update For First Bank Drive Rehabilitation Project

PALATINE, IL — The Village of Palatine said Monday morning that construction continues on First Bank Drive from Northwest Highway to Hicks Road, as part of the First Bank Drive Rehabilitation Project. The northbound/eastbound lanes are tentatively scheduled to reopen as soon as Monday, the Village said.

The southbound/westbound lanes are closing to all traffic, and pavement removal operations will begin on these lanes.

While the detour route will be adjusted to direct traffic to use southbound Hicks Road and westbound Northwest Highway, businesses will still have traffic access, according to the Village.
