Easton Police Mourn Officer's Death

EASTON, MA — Members of the Easton Police Department are mourning the death of Officer Patrick Taylor, who died suddenly on Friday.

Police Chief Gary Sullivan said that Taylor was a dedicated veteran of the Easton Police Department, where Taylor worked for 26 years. Taylor has spent a total of 30 years as a police officer.

"Patrick had a tremendous impact on all those that knew him and will be sadly missed by everyone," said Sullivan in a statement Tuesday. "On behalf of the entire Easton Police Department family, we would like to thank the community and our friends in law enforcement for the outpouring of support during this difficult time."
