Shrewsbury High School Hosts Gymnastics Learning Center Invitational Meet

The Gymnastics Learning Center ("GLC") at 574 Lake Street in Shrewsbury recently hosted its Annual Invitational Gymnastics Meet at Shrewsbury High School on February 19-21. The Hawaiian Luau themed competition featured Junior Olympics and XCEL gymnasts from all over Massachusetts, and was directed by Jen Belculfine, Director of Recreation and Curriculum and ​Massachusetts Administrative Committee Representative​for the Gymnastics Learning Center in Shrewsbury. The Gymnastics Learning Center's 33 year history of training award-winning gymnasts was evident as GLC Junior Olympics and XCEL Teams dominated the meet, with five GLC teams taking First Place: Level 8 Junior Olympics Team, Level 7 Junior Olympics Team, Level 6 Junior Olympics Team, Level 4 Junior Olympics Team, and Platinum XCEL Team.

Gymnastics Learning Center's Level 8 Junior Olympics Team took First Place at the Hawaiian Luau Invitational and remains undefeated this season. GLC's Level 8 gymnasts also swept the individual awards, with Catherine Von Hausen, Julia Forget and Sophia Croft taking home Gold Medals in All Around in their age groups, and Alexa Ryan taking home the Silver Medal.
