SHREWSBURY, MA — Welcome to the July 25 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up during the week in Patch communities between Wayland and Worcester.

Here's what to know for the week of July 25:

Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury has started working on a town strategic plan to guide growth and development for years to come. The town now needs local residents to give feedback on parts of the plan. Visit the town's dedicated strategic plan website to learn more.

Worcester

Worcester's newest donut shop, Mochi Doh, held a grand opening over the weekend. The shop sells a special type of Japanese donut made up of smaller balls of dough in flavors like salted caramel and strawberry. The owners first encountered the special type of treat in Seattle. The store is open daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 209 Harding St. in the Canal District.

Wayland

After meeting with the Zoning Board of Appeals earlier this month, the town will head to the Wayland Planning Board on Tuesday to discuss a plan to park school buses permanently at the town building. A prior approval for school bus parking expires in August.

Marlborough

The Marlborough City Council will meet Monday with a long agenda, including decisions on two major development projects. First, councilors may approve a special permit for the 276-unit Alta development in the French Hill neighborhood. Councilors may also set a new public hearing for the Walcott Heritage Farm development along the Boston Post Road. The developer sued Marlborough after councilors turned down the application in 2021.

Milford

This week is Milford Local Eatery Week, where local bars and restaurants will have special deals to attract diners. Participating restaurants include Central Tavern, Pepperoncini's, Pinz and many more. See all the deals here.

Westborough

The Beatles tribute band 4EverFab will play the British band's hit songs during an outdoor concert at the Bay State Common downtown. The concert runs 6 to 8 p.m.

Sudbury

The Sudbury Select Board will meet Tuesday to discuss a variety of items, including whether to make the town's Discussion on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Commission permanent. Find out more here.
