SHREWSBURY, MA — The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project will visit Shrewsbury four times in July to spray for mosquitoes, according to a new schedule released this week.

The mosquito control project makes regular stops throughout the summer in a few dozen cities and towns in Worcester and Middlesex counties. In the summer, CMMCP typically uses the pesticide Zenivex E4 to kill adult mosquitoes. Pesticide applications in the spring typically target mosquito larvae.

In July, the control project will spray in Shrewsbury on July 6, 12, 19 and 26.
