Say Hello to the New Coach Belichick

Now there’s another Coach Belichick on the block.

Amanda Belichick, daughter of New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, is following in her father’s footsteps.

Amanda on Friday was named the new head coach of the Holy Cross women’s lacrosse program. She spent the last two years heading the same program at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

In a statement, she sure sounded like her father.

“I am excited and honored to be the next women’s lacrosse coach at Holy Cross,” said Belichick. “I look forward to building on the school’s great tradition and working with the talented student-athletes in the program.”
