SHREWSBURY, MA — Monday's snowstorm canceled school in Shrewsbury, and now it's canceling trash pickup.

The town announced Monday morning that trash and recycling would be delayed by one day this week. So if your usual pickup is on a Monday, it'll happen Tuesday. Friday's trash pickup will take place Saturday.

"Please note this important message from the Department of Public Works. Trash will be delayed one day this week due to the inclement weather. Please have all trash and recyclables at the curb by 7 a.m. on your revised pick-up day," the town said.
