SHREWSBURY, MA—Showers, showers, and more showers. The forecast looks pretty wet for the area this weekend. While you might have to take your cookout inside, your lawns and gardens are bursting with anticipation. Plus, it'll cut that thick, soupy atmosphere for a spell.

  • Friday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.
  • Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly late afternoon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89.
  • Saturday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Areas of fog before 9pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 73.
  • Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 92.
  • Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67.
