NJ Highway Crash, Construction Delays In NJ: Patch AM Traffic Digest

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Thursday, June 30, 2022:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 7:05 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 15 southbound north of NJ 181/Espanong Road/Weldon Road in Jefferson Township. 1 left lane closed; 5-10 minute delay.

As of 6:20 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 21 southbound ramp to eastbound Exit 9 - NJ 3 in Clifton. 1 left lane closed; there is a 10-minute delay.

As of 6:14 a.m., there's a disabled vehicle on I-280 westbound west of Exit 14W - Clifton Avenue in Newark. 1 right lane closed.

Central Jersey

As of 7:54 a.m., there's a crash on the Garden State Parkway express lanes northbound north of Exit 120 - Laurence Harbor in Old Bridge. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 7:18 a.m., there's a crash with injuries on US 22 eastbound CR 651/Warrenville Avenue in Green Brook. All lanes closed.

As of 5:17 a.m., there's construction on I-287 local lanes northbound ramp to eastbound Exit 21 - I-78 in Bedminster Township. All lanes closed until further notice; Exit 21A is closed.

South Jersey

As of 7:03 a.m., there's a crash on I-295 northbound south of Exit 26N- I-76/I-676 in Bellmawr. Left shoulder closed; 5-10 minute delay.

As of 6:04 a.m., there's an unanticipated construction delay on I-76 westbound approaching west of Exit 1D - US 130 in Gloucester City. 2 left lanes closed.

Transit Updates

Northeast Corridor train #3808, the 5:40 a.m. arrival into PSNY, is up to 30 mins late due to an earlier mechanical issue.

Northeast Corridor train #3706, the 6:25 a.m. departure from Jersey Ave., has been cancelled due to a mechanical issue. Please take train #3708, the 6:52 a.m. departure from Jersey Ave.

All other NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect sunny skies most of the day with a high near 80. Thunderstorms possible after about 4 p.m.
