North Jersey

As of 4:28 p.m., there's EMS activity on I-80 local lanes westbound Exit 66 - Hudson St in Hackensack. All lanes open.

As of 4:18 p.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike inner roadway southbound North of Interchange 13A - Newark Liberty International Airport/US 1&9 in Elizabeth. Right shoulder blocked.

As of 3:50 p.m., there's fire department activity on NJ 208 southbound North of Fair Lawn Ave. in Fair Lawn. All lanes open.

Central Jersey

As of 3:51 p.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound South of Molly Pitcher Service Area in Cranbury Twp. Right shoulder blocked.

South Jersey

As of 4:56 p.m., there's a crash on NJ 55 northbound North of Exit 58 - Deptford Center Rd in Deptford Twp. Left shoulder closed 5-10 minute delay, use caution.

As of 4:40 p.m., there's a crash with Injuries on I-76 eastbound West of Exit 1D - US 130 in Gloucester City. 3 center lanes closed 5-10 minute delay, use caution.

As of 4:34 p.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound North of Interchange 4 - NJ 73 in Mount Laurel Twp. Right shoulder blocked.

As of 4:33 p.m., there's a crash on I-76 eastbound West of Exit 1D - US 130 in Gloucester City. 3 center lanes closed 5-10 minute delay, use caution.

As of 4:04 p.m., there's debris on the Garden State Parkway southbound Exit 12s - US 9 in Middle Twp. 1 right lane blocked.

Transit Updates

Northeast Corridor

4:45 p.m.: NEC train #3947, the 4:41 p.m. PSNY departure is canceled due to mechanical issues. Please take train #3949, the 5:03 p.m. PSNY departure.

Morris & Essex

4:22 p.m.: M and E Line train #6656, the 5:06 p.m. arrival into PSNY, is up to 15 mins late due to signal issues.

4:22 p.m.: M and E train #6654, the 4:52 p.m. PSNY arrival is up to 20 min late due to signal issues near Convent.

Main/Bergen/Port Jervis

4:14 p.m.: MBPJ Line train #66, the 5:13 p.m. arrival into Hoboken, is up to 15 mins late due to earlier congestion from train #99.

Pansack Valley

4:17 p.m.: PVL train #1621, the 4:06 p.m. arrival into Spring Valley, is up to 15 min. late due to earlier congsetion from train #1632.

Light Rail

4:25 p.m.: Newark Light Rail Mainline and Broad Street Extension service is subject to up to 15-minute delays in both directions due to a disabled train at Warren Street.

4:16 p.m.: HBLR: the 4:02 p.m. southbound departure from Hoboken and the 4:33 PM northbound departure from 22nd St are canceled due to mechanical issues. Trip will originate from Liberty State Park at 4:43 p.m.

4:12 p.m.: River Line: the 3:42 p.m. Trenton departure and the 4:58 p.m. departure from the Waterfront Entertainment Center are canceled due to mechanical issues.

Weather

There's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms on the evening commute. The storms will be mostly scattered and isolated entering Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
