9 Roadways In Patchogue To Be Paved

Work on the local roadways began this month.

PATCHOGUE, NY - Brookhaven town officials will be working to pave nine roadways in Patchogue starting this month.

The work will be done on roads north of Montauk Highway, between Gazzola Drive and North Dunton Avenue in East Patchogue.

The project cost a total of $220,000. Work began earlier this month but it is unknown how long it will continue to.

Roadways that will be resurfaced during this paving project included:

  • Atlantic Avenue
  • Bald Hill Avenue
  • Hagerman Avenue
  • John Roe Smith Avenue
  • Kane Avenue
  • Maure Avenue
  • Patchogue Avenue
  • Stanley Avenue
  • Walker Avenue.

"The roadways in this neighborhood were definitely in need of repair," Highway Superintendent Daniel Losquadro said. "I appreciate residents’ patience as we continue to work our way across the Town while working within the confines of our annual budget. It is very gratifying to see the progress the Highway Department is making in improving the infrastructure throughout Brookhaven."
