American Family Care Opens 5th LI Location In Suffolk

The state-of-the-art, 4,000-square-foot facility features five exam rooms, triage and procedure rooms, digital X-rays, and a lab.

PATCHOGUE, NY — American Family Care has opened its fifth health care center on Long Island on Railroad Avenue in Patchogue.

The new, state-of-the-art, 4,000-square-foot facility features five exam rooms, a triage room, a procedure room, digital x-ray services, and a lab. Services include walk-in urgent care, physical exams, pediatric care, primary and family care, seasonal allergy treatment, X-ray diagnostics, lab testing, occupational health services, COVID-19 testing, and vaccinations.

AFC's medical director, Dr. Victor Fred Politi, who spearheaded growth efforts across Long Island, said "a dedicated team of medical professionals will provide the greater Patchogue community with reliable and dependable care for years to come."

“With five locations, we have a strong base to build upon," he said. "We are exploring opportunities to open new locations in communities across Long Island in the upcoming months.”

American Family Care has over 300 AFC Urgent Care locations across 26 states, treating nearly three million patients a year. Its other care centers include East Meadow, Farmingdale, West Islip, and Lake Ronkonkoma. During the COVID-19 pandemic, AFC became the first urgent care center in the U.S. to administer rapid COVID-19 testing for the public.
