DAR/C.A.R. marches in Medford Christmas Parade

A Holly Jolly Good Parade- The Children of the American Revolution joined in the Medford Christmas Parade on December 1sr

Graham Nathan,Long Island District Vice President of the Children of the American Revolution, and member of the Captain Austin Roe Society, remarked that the Medford Christmas Parade was a "Holly jolly good parade!" He led the parade with his sister Cordelia Nathan-Barry and brother Sebastian Nathan-Barry. His mom Heidi along with Sgt. Brian Barry led the way carrying the lighted banner. The Medford Fire Department served hot chocolate (yum!). Community leaders also enjoyed this festive evening. A most delightful evening was enjoyed by all! The children are a direct descendant of a patriot of the American Revolution. A patriot is one who supported this cause by donation, paying taxes, or as a soldier or officer. Today they stand up for the American Flag, support Veterans and active service members, and help the community. They are sponsored by DAR Chapter Col. Josiah Smith. Are you a descendant too? If you think you are, please contact Joan Nathan at [email protected]
