Classic Flick 'Jaws' Screening Slated For Long Island

PATCHOGUE, NY — If you never had the chance to see the classic movie, "Jaws," in the theater, here is your chance.

For those of you who did, the tickets might be a — um — tad bit more money than they were for the 1975 release, but it will be worth it.

The movie will be screened at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on July 12.

The plot follows a killer shark as it unleashes chaos in a beach community off of Cape Cod, and the chase to track it down by the local sheriff, a marine biologist, and a seasoned sailor.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $14.
