Col Josiah Smith NSDAR Flag Essay Contest Winner Eliana Kirkup

Congratulations to Eliana Kirkup, winner of the Col. Josiah Smith DAR Chapter 5th and 6th grade Flag Essay contest. The topic was "What the Flag of the United States means to me." Her essay has been submitted to the New York DAR State contest. Eliana is a 5th grade student at the Kirkup Academy, is an accomplished harpist, and loves to read. She recently was a page at the New York State Children of the American Revolution State Conference. We are very proud of all of Eliana's accomplishments.
