John Cusack To Lead Discussion After 'High Fidelity' Screening On Long Island

The critically-acclaimed actor has starred in 80s cult classics like "Better Off Dead," "Say Anything," and "The Sure Thing."

PATCHOGUE, NY — Actor John Cusack will lead a discussion of his classic film, "High Fidelity," after a screening at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in October.

The critically-acclaimed actor Cusack is an 80s icon who starred in films like "Better Off Dead," "Say Anything," "Sixteen Candles," and "The Sure Thing." He later went on to star in "Gross Ponte Blank," "The Thin Red Line," "Being John Malkovich," "2012," and "Serendipity."

He was recently seen in SyFy's series, "Utopia," as Dr. Kevin Christie.

The 2000 movie "High Fidelity" is about the lives of a group of record store employees. It is based on Nick Hornby's novel stars Jack Black, Lisa Bonet, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Joan Cusack and has developed a cult following over the years.

John Cusack was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor.

Tickets for the Oct. 8 show run from $69 to $99, including fees. Participation in the Meet and Greet will cost $200, including a ticket. The VIP ticket pre-sale starts Wednesday. Tickets go on sale to the public on June 2.
