Less Than Jake To Headline Blue Point Brewery's Birthday Babaloo

PATCHOGUE, NY — Blue Point Brewing Co. is celebrating its 25th year as Long Island’s original craft brewery with a Birthday Babaloo on Saturday.

The event will run from 3 to 10 p.m.

It will feature performances by headliners Less Than Jake, as well as Krush, Friends With Benefits, and DJ Buddhacapone.

It will be "a mash-up of a birthday party, music festival, and block party," that will include a giant water slide, pickleball, volleyball, basketball, and yard games, plus a dozen food trucks, alongside Blue Point’s exciting beer portfolio and pub menu, organizers said.

The brewery has teamed up with Long Island Cares for food drive onsite, and attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable foods.

The brewery was founded by two friends who wanted to bring local craft beer to the island, and they crafted their very first and most popular beer, Toasted Lager, in 1998.

Founder Mark Burford said the brewery has kept its values the same, “particularly our commitments to quality and community.”

“We’re proud to have been a Long Island staple for the past 25 years and look forward to continuing to grow with the community,” he said.

Tickets for the Birthday Babaloo are available for those 21 and over and they start at $45 for general admission, which includes a beer and birthday hat.

VIP tickets are $150 and include early entry at 2 p.m., a Herschel Supply Co. Bag, limited edition 25th Birthday Shirt, VIP lounge access, and more.
