'The Magic Garden's' Carole And Paula To Perform On Long Island

The duo will sing classic songs, as well as perform a Story Box tale, and share behind-the-scenes stories with video clips.

PATCHOGUE, NY — The beloved stars of TV's iconic children's show, Carole and Paula, will perform in "The Magic Garden: Friends Forever" at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in October.

The pair will celebrate their 70 years of friendship, and kick-off Halloween, with a fun-filled family concert for all ages. It will take you back to your childhood as the duo sing the show's classic songs, with Paula on guitar, as well as perform a Story Box tale, and share behind-the-scenes stories featuring video clips.

The show expects to draw a number of adults looking to reconnect with their memories.

The show produced three cast albums, including a Grammy nomination, a popular DVD set, citations from Actions for Children’s Television, and its archived at The Paley Center for Media.

Hallow costumes are encouraged.

Tickets for the Oct. 15 show will go on sale Aug. 11. They will run $30 and $40, including fees. They can be purchased in person at 71 East Main St., Patchogue, or by phone at 631-207-1313, or online.
