Mingle Like 'Kris Kringle' At Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl In Patchogue

PATCHOGUE, NY — It'll make for a lot of great icebreakers.

The bill has it as the best holiday celebration east of New York City, so get those ugly Christmas sweaters out and head to Patchogue on Dec. 18 for the official bar crawl.

The crawl will run from 3 to 8 p.m. in downtown Patchogue with participating establishments, including, The Tap Room, That Meetball Place, Rhum, The Village Idiot, Del Fuego, Dirty Taco, Daisy’s, Burgerology, and the James Joyce Pub and Restaurant.

Tickets run about $15.

Crawlers will enjoy drink specials like $3 shots, $4 beers, and $5 mixed drinks.

Organizers have encouraged all crawlers to dress up and follow them as they go from bar to bar, sampling the best venues the village has to offer.

Thousands of crawlers who are expected to receive a digital map will have access to not only drink specials but up to 20 percent off select food specials. There will also be a photographer and videographer on hand to capture your best moments.

And, the best part is the crawlers with the ugliest get-ups will eligible for cash prizes. Tag organizers in photos and video @pubcrawlers to be featured on social media platforms.

The crawl is open to those 21 and over.
