YAPHANK, NY — The Yaphank Historical Society is hosting a nature trail walk in Yaphank on Sunday morning.

It will kick off at the Homan-Gerard House parking lot at 5 Yaphank Avenue at 10 a.m., but rain will cancel the program.

The walk will be led by naturalist and historical society board member, MaryLaura Lamont, who will take participants "along easy trails to explore the natural and human history of the area," according to the society.
