Pat-Med’s December Athletes Of The Month Announced

PATCHOGUE, NY - From Patchogue-Medford School District: Congratulations to Patchogue-Medford students Kenedy Peterson and Patrick Dellecave on being selected as the school district’s December Athletes of the Month.

Kenedy Petersen, Sr. Girls’ Varsity Basketball

Kenedy is an extremely hard worker and has been resilient this year overcoming an injury in November only to return in December and perform at a high level.

Despite her injury, she still continued her role as team captain and leader.

Kenedy works at weekly clinics and Saturday morning fast break leagues at Pat-Med High School.

She is also an honor student and currently has a GPA of 98.43.

Patrick Dellecave, Sr. Boys’ Varsity Basketball
Patrick helped lead the boys’ varsity basketball team to two tournament championships and did this in a selfless way always looking to make others better and not worrying about his own accomplishments.

He is a ‘team first’ player and a role model for his peers and younger student-athletes in the program.

Patrick has also fundraised for needy families, helped put food baskets together for those in need during Thanksgiving and is a member of the Spanish Honor Society.

He currently has a GPA of 96.96.
