PATCHOGUE, NY - Gratitude was in the air at the Shirley Ambulance Company’s Annual Installation dinner on Feb. 19.

Town of Brookhaven Supervisor Ed Romaine, who attended the dinner at Lombardi’s on the Bay in Patchogue, commended the company members for their dedication and service to the community, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic, and for the many lives that they saved throughout the year.

“I commend the members of the Shirley Ambulance Company who give so much of their time to community service,” Romaine said. “It has been a challenging time for first responders dealing with COVID 19 and we owe them a large debt of gratitude for saving countless lives throughout the year.”
