Shots Fired At Patchogue Home In 1 of 2 Recent Local Shootings: Police

A 911 caller notified police that the shots rang out at about 3:30 a.m., a spokesman said.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Shots pierced a Patchogue home early Thursday, Suffolk police said.

A 911 caller notified police that shots were fired at a Mulford Street home at around 3:30 a.m., and bullet holes were found, according to police. No one was injured, police said.

Whether the shots were fired from a car or someone on foot is under investigation.

It was the second of two shootings within a day locally.

Multiple shots were fired into a vehicle in Coram on Wednesday, but one lodged in a man's wallet, saving his life.
