UPDATE: Patchogue Hotspot Reopens After Month-Long Closure

Rise & Grind, which opened six months ago, closed down temporarily last month due to "conditions caused by the pandemic."

PATCHOGUE, NY — A new Patchogue breakfast spot finally reopened this week after closing for a month due to the coronavirus.

In February, Rise & Grind, located on 240 E. Main Street, announced in an Instagram post that it was shutting down temporarily due to "conditions caused by the pandemic," six months after opening its doors.

In an updated post this week, the restaurant announced its reopening date for Wednesday.

"We’re back from hibernation," the post read. "Our staff has worked very hard during the month of February to implement improvements that were recommended to us from you."

The reopening came with some fanfare, with the business hosting a giveaway, gifting half-off to 15 randomly chosen participants.

In addition, from Wednesday through Friday, the eatery will be randomly placing $10 gift cards under some of the placemats during opening hours way of saying thank you.

Rise & Grind also debuted its new menu, which now includes lunch options as well.
