"Had plenty of good meals here but not in a long time...became very overpriced," another wrote.

According to the owners, they were unable to negotiate a new lease with the building's owner. The restaurant had been in business for about 20 years. While Mi Ranchito Grill is no longer open, the owners said they will continue to serve the community at their other restaurant, Mojito Café, which is located at 109 Main St. in Port Washington.

"Glad there is still Mojitos," one poster said online.

Some people said they would like to see a new restaurant to take the place of Mi Ranchito Grill.

"I think it would be a great location for a pizza/Italian restaurant and bar," one person said.

"We need a good steakhouse. It’s about time," another person said.

Many residents also expressed interest in having a familiar eatery return to the location.

“Bring back Andy’s Pizza,” one commenter said.
