  1. Suffolk County Crimestoppers is offering a $5,000 reward in a fatal hit-and-run on LIE in Ronkonkoma. Robert Twiford, 61, of Melville, was hit and killed last year when he got out of his car at Exit 60 of the LIE. The driver left the scene and stopped a short time later to inspect his car, which you can see photos of in the link. (Sachem Patch)
  2. Six teens were arrested for damaging fences in a TikTok 'Kool-Aid Man Challenge.' The challenge had people running through fences similar to the Kool-Aid man's signature for smashing things and was going viral on the app. The teens damaged fences in the Centereach and Selden areas. 3. Tritec Real Estate has hired Colliers to promote and lease up to 195,000 square feet of retail space at Ronkonkoma's Station Yards. "We’re thrilled to be setting the foundation for upcoming best-in-class mix-used places. This transformative project will assist the town going forward in becoming an idyllic location for live-work-play," Tritec's vice president of marketing Chris Kelly said. (Sachem Patch)
