European Double Mattresses

Our European double mattresses measure 140cmW x 200cmL with a minimum of 25cm depth depending on the range and model. The European double size is available in our Hybrid® Original from our Comfort range, and the Hybrid® Pro and Hybrid® Luxe models from our Deluxe range; you’ll find a standard UK double size in the rest of our Comfort and Deluxe ranges and our Earth range. 

If you need a bigger EU size mattress for your bed, we also have roomy EU Queen Size Hybrid® Original Mattresses in our Comfort range, and EU Queen Hybrid® Pro and Hybrid® Luxe Mattresses in our Deluxe range. And if you’re after a smaller EU size, our European Single Mattresses are an ideal choice for kids or guest beds. 

European double mattresses are slightly longer than UK double mattresses, so do check the size of your bed carefully before you make your choice. The extra length may also mean you need to measure your bedroom, carefully making sure you have plenty of room around the bed and that you can open any drawers, cupboards and doors.  

Once you’ve put your tape measure away, you need to consider who your new EU double mattress is for, and how often it’s going to be used. We often recommend European double mattresses for taller people or growing teenagers, so they get adequate support for their whole body when they sleep.

We don’t want any of our mattresses to go to landfill, so all the European double mattresses for sale at Simba are suitable for recycling via our collection service or certain specialist providers. If you return yours during your 200-night trial (or under our 10-year guarantee), it’ll be refurbished; any with too much wear and tear are recycled. When your mattress reaches the end of its life, we offer a specialised Simba Mattress Recycling Service on our website. All you need to do is pay a small fee, and we collect it for you. It doesn’t matter what brand or size it is, and there’s no Simba purchase necessary.   

Yes, we offer guaranteed free delivery on your European double mattress, even in sale periods. It’ll arrive conveniently rolled and boxed, just give it a couple of days to fully regain its shape. You’ll also get a 200-night free trial period, completely risk free. If you’re not happy withing that time, let us know and we’ll collect it for free.
