While I will always be a proponent of a minimalist ankle strap heel (and, indeed, feel that one would not have been remiss here as a way to tie in to the thin strappy design on the back of the gown) I also can’t fault a simple, coordinating pump as a clean finisher to a lewk as statement-making as this one is in colour alone.

A part of me also quietly wonders if Taylor got a little Christmas-y kick out of seeing the iridescent gree(eeeeee)n leather paired with that iconic red sole.
